Aaron Hernandez was found guilty today for the murder of Odin Llyod. The former New England Patriot was found guilty first degree murder charges and will spend life in prison without parole. The jury took over 36 hours and a seven day span to finally come to a verdict. I think its a shame that Hernandez murdered this man because he had his whole life ahead of him. He was a great football player that had a huge contract with the Patriots but he screwed up. I think he belongs behind bars and they made the right decision. On the other hand I do think it is unfortunate for him and how badly he messed up his life.
I agree that he was a great football player with a huge future ahead of him, but sometimes we just don't understand why people do the things that they do. The jury, in my opinion based on the facts that were presented, made the right decision in finding Hernandez guilty.
ReplyDeleteHe was a great football player, just not a great person it turns out. He gave up a future full of millions of dollars because of a stupid selfish crime. He deserves to be behind bars because the family of Odin Lloyd deserves that peace.
