There is Still a Chance
The Pittsburgh Penguins tied up the series Saturday night 1-1 as they Beat the New York Rangers 4-3. Sidney Crosby had two goals in this win over the Rangers taking away the drought of 19 playoff games without a goal. The Penguins went through a span where they were struggling all the way around and almost didn't make the playoffs. That hasn't stopped them yet, they are still fighting for the cup as they play the islanders at home tonight. Will the Penguins be able to pull of the upset over the number one ranked New York Rangers? I guess we will have to find out. The next game is tonight Monday, April 20th, 2015.

Guilty!
Aaron Hernandez was found guilty today for the murder of Odin Llyod. The former New England Patriot was found guilty first degree murder charges and will spend life in prison without parole. The jury took over 36 hours and a seven day span to finally come to a verdict. I think its a shame that Hernandez murdered this man because he had his whole life ahead of him. He was a great football player that had a huge contract with the Patriots but he screwed up. I think he belongs behind bars and they made the right decision. On the other hand I do think it is unfortunate for him and how badly he messed up his life.

Zlatan To MLS
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could possibly moving to the MLS?? It has been said that Ibrahimovic might be with his last European professional team and that he might want to start to play in the United States. He apparently applied for a United States visa that would only be required if he were playing on staying in the country for a long time. If Zlatan Ibrahimovic were to play in the MLS he would be one of the best without a doubt. It is not said for sure whether he will be coming over to play in the United Sates, but with him applying for a visa it might be showing us what his plans for the future are. Ibrahimovic still has to play for his club PSG until the end of 2016, so until then we can not know for sure where the next step in his career will be. We can only hope his next stop will be in the MLS.Wednesday, April 1, 2015
We're Losing Our Momentum
The United States Men's National team continues to struggle late in games. After their tie against Switzerland it is starting to stand out that their second half performance hasn't been up to par. Since the World Cup the United States have been outscored 12-1 in the second half of their games. If they want to start winning they must be able to finish their games. Until then we will continue to see the team struggle. I think they must be able to finish their opportunities because it seems as if that is a huge problem. What do you think must change?

Retirement at Age 24?
Chris Borland linebacker for the San Francisco 49ers decided to retire Monday after one season in the NFL. Borland had an outbreak rookie season where he accumulated 107 tackles along with 14 sacks. Borland decided to retire monday because of health concerns for the rest of his life. He didn't want to have head trauma in the future like most former players have. Chris Borland decided he would rather choose his health over his football career. What would you choose? Health or Money? That seems to be the argument in question here. Borland said that after talking to many former players his decision was easy to make because he knew that in his future he wouldn't want to have problems with brain functionality. I think Borland made a good decision for himself and maybe his future family, but once again what do you think?

Looking Overseas Again
The United States Mens Soccer National team is full of players from other countries. Many of them are German-Americans as well as the coach. Juergen Klinsmen the national team head coach is looking at more German-American players to play on the national team. One in particular is Ashton Gotz, he will be inviting the player to play on the national team in the spring friendlies. Only one problem arrises, he still does not have a United States passport. If he gets a passport he could be on the team sooner than we know it.

Fight For The Ages
It has finally been decided. Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio have come to terms and are going to fight. The fight is scheduled for May 2nd at MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It is said to be one of the greatest fights in history because both of these men are so talented. One can only wonder who will wing this match. Will Mayweather improve to 48-0-0 or will Pacquaio able to bring home the win. The profits from the fight are projected at $400 million dollars and are supposed to be spilt 60-40 between the two. Who do you think will win the fight?

A New Deal?
The Arizona Cardinals have said that they are looking to sign a new deal with their veteran wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald. My question to everyone "Is Fitzgerald really worth it?" He is set to make over $16 million in the 2015-2016 season and the Cardinals are looking to extend his contract. I ask this question because if you look at Fitzgerald's stats you can see them declining in the past seasons. With only two touchdown receptions and less than 800 yards this year is he really worth the money? At this point I don't believe he is worth as much as he is going to make next year, but things can always change and next year he could have an outstanding year. I guess we will find out if the Cardinals are making the right decision in the near future.

The Next Fastest Man
Usain Bolt is the fastest man in the world as of now. Unfortunately we have to see an end to his legacy in the near future. Usain Bolt is set to retire after the 2017 World Championships. The gold medalist in the 100 meter, 200 meter, and 4 by 100 meter sprints will end his career hopefully as a champion when he runs his last 100 meter sprint in 2017. The real question to ask is "Who will be the world's next fastest man?"Friday, February 13, 2015
No More Beast Mode?
Could this be the last year we see Marshawn Lynch in the NFL? According to Michael Robinson, former running back for the Seattle Seahawks, "Lynch might want to explore other things outside of football." Nothing is for sure yet, but we do know that Marshawn Lynch is still considered one of the best running backs in the NFL. Lynch has one more year until his contract is up and he is supposed to make $7 million dollars his last year. We will just have to wait and see if Beast Mode is going to stick around.
